Scientific Sessions

Mornings are spent in the scientific sessions learning from our guest lecturers and national leaders.  Abstracts presented by our residents and fellows in training are judged by membership for awards.

MAPS Banquet

We celebrate our President and Scientific Program Chair as we gather for dinner at the Grand Hotel.  Winners of the resident and fellow abstract presentations are announced.  Guest speakers have discussed Michigan Wines and Climbing Mt. Everest.

Social Traditions

The boat cruise under the Mackinac Bridge, the dinner at Fort Mackinac, and the Golf Outing allow for social networking with colleagues old and new.

Family and Friends

What could be better than a summer trip to Mackinac Island?  This meeting is family friendly with afternoons free for walks down Main Street or biking around the island.  Sit on the world's longest porch and gaze over the Straits of Mackinac.  Sip tea in the afternoon in the Grand Hotel's Parlor.  Dance the night away with your family in the Terrace Room to live music.  The options are endless!
